Marion has first-hand experience of aligning organisations and their divisions for success. She has on the ground experience of building and implementing strategic and operational capability as well as aligning these to competency and learning frameworks. She has held various executive roles in Telstra and has extensive experience in local government, change management, education, the service sector, media and publishing.

For eight years Marion held executive roles in Telstra where she variously was in charge of; Strategic Planning and Finance; Marketing Operations; Market Research; & Project Management. In her seven years in Television, Marion held a number of positions including directing News and Current Affairs. She has also run her own Business, been a Local Government Commissioner, been an elected councillor, and held a number of board positions.

Throughout her career, her passion has always been to achieve the best performance from herself and her staff. She has an enduring commitment to employee development and education.

Marion holds; an MBA (Melbourne Business School); has a Graduate Diploma and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; has a Postgraduate Degree in Media (AFTRS); a Bachelor of Science (Aberdeen), with a major in Psychology; and is Prince 2 Project Management qualified. She is also a member of the Market Research Institute and AHRI, a graduate of Leadership Victoria where she is a Williamson Fellow and is certified to provide SLTDI assessments and Corporate Alignment Mapping. She brings her experience and passion to support Core Management Solutions’ clients.
